As the Sales & Marketing Specialist – Upstream, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our downhole completion and drilling products to oil and gas operators, service companies, and drilling contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in upstream oil and gas operations, combined with a passion for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth. You will work closely with our engineering, operations, and customer support teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions and exceptional service to our clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share for our downhole completion and drilling technologies. Focus on building new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships within the upstream oil and gas industry. - Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, procurement managers, and senior management at client organizations. Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and technical support. - Marketing Campaigns & Lead Generation:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that promote our products and services. Participate in industry trade shows and events to generate leads and raise brand awareness. - Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
Continuously monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights. Work closely with the product development team to enhance our offerings based on customer feedback. - Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, highlighting market trends and sales performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to achieve sales targets. - Product Knowledge & Technical Support:
Leverage your technical knowledge of downhole completion and drilling technologies to educate clients and provide solutions that meet their specific needs. Stay up to date with the latest industry developments and product innovations. - Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services and products to clients. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of product installations.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the upstream oil and gas sector.
- Proven success in selling downhole completion and drilling technologies or similar products in the oilfield industry.
- Knowledge of drilling operations and downhole equipment is essential.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with downhole completion technologies (e.g., wellheads, packers, artificial lift systems).
- Understanding of drilling operations and related equipment (e.g., drilling rigs, directional drilling).
